Wow. I haven't been on here in a long-ass time. Half of my profile really doesn't reflect who I am anymore. Like 'enjoying getting wasted'? Yeah, not me nowadays. Let's fix that.
I'm uh...quirky? Or let's say unique. I'm agnostic/pro-choice/queer/a media addict/political/outgoing/loud/different/passionate/just me.
I'm a support worker at a youth drop-in centre working with high risk clients. I do lots of public speaking and some consulting. I write a column for a weekly paper. I work for a politician. Yup, 3 jobs, at least. It's time consuming.
My house is a mess. I have two dogs. I miss sleep. I'm too busy to think most of the time. I'm trying my best to make a difference in the world. I have an overwhelming compulsion to fix people. I believe that above all, you've got to fight for the things you believe in, whatever they may be.

I can be intense. I'm loyal and too protective for my own good. I'm analytical and logical and value those qualities highly in others. I'm compassionate, honest and blunt.
Sometimes I want to go clubbing on the weekends, sometimes I want to hike. I absolutely love going to concerts, movies, festivals and exhibits. Sometimes I help friends with shows (promoting or documenting). My DVD collection is overtaking my living room. I collect a lot of stupid things. I love going out for a good meal. Hanging out with friends and the people I care about is how I want to spend most of my time. |
| A Successful Date Would Be ... |
I like doing things that are cultured (gallery, museum, the theatre, music festival, lectures) just as much as I enjoy stupid things (arcade, bowling, laser tag, amusement park) and the stuff in between (dinner, concert, movie, picnic). With the right company, I'm pretty easy to please.
A good date is simply one where conversation flows easily and both people can feel the connection. Chivalry is stupidly important to me. The sort of date where we're both running to open the door and arguing about who gets to pay, I love that. Politeness impresses me I guess. But it all comes down to common interests. And attraction, that's kind of important too. |
